| Sibaya completes Rosenborg move ![]() Sibaya joins the 10-in-a-row champions of Norway South Africa midfielder MacBeth Sibaya has completed a move to Norwegian champions Rosenborg. Sibaya, who was one of the few members of Bafana Bafana's World Cup squad to play in the South African domestic league, moves from Jomo Cosmos for an undisclosed fee. He is now on a three-year contract with one of Scandinavia's most successful clubs of recent times. Rosenborg have won the Norwegian league 10 times in a row. It is the second time Sibaya has headed to Europe, after a previous spell with Hungarian club Kerulet. He had spent a week on trial earlier this month with English Premiership club West Bromwich Albion, but headed for the Arctic Circle when the Baggies failed to follow up their interest in him. Sibaya becomes the second Cosmos player to join a Norwegian club after Nkosinathi Nhleko moved to Brann Bergen in May. |
