Nigerian midfielder Pascal Karibe Ojigwe is anxiously waiting to hear about his future after a disappointing last six months at Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.

Ojigwe, who was part of Nigeria's squad for Mali 2002 but missed out on selection for the World Cup, moved to Leverkusen last season but failed to feature much in the team's successful runs in the European Cup, German League and German Cup.

Leverkusen finished runner-up in each competition.

Leverkusen coach, Klaus Toppmoller - who was himself linked with the post of Nigeria coach earlier this year - will decide in the next few days whether to keep the Nigerian utility player, according to German press reports.
