Kromah, who had previously announced he was taking a more local-based approach as part of his 'Act 22' mission to rejuvenate Liberian football, has selected 12 foreign-based players. They are newcomers Victor Konwolo, Bill Newray and Josiah Seton, as well as members from previous squads, including goalkeeper Louis Crayton, Fallah Johnson, George Gebro, Jimmy Dixon, Oliver Makor, Frank Seator, Prince Daye and Dulee Johnson. In an interview with BBC Sport Online last month, Kromah said that "thorough research on the foreign-based players" would have to be conducted "before a decision on their inclusion." But this abrupt shift in policy before his first match would seem to suggest that the coach has not been impressed with his new band of locals, who already have begun training in Monrovia. Kromah has, however, asked a total of twenty-five players to continue their training under his tutorship. | Top Africa stories now: Links to more Africa stories are at the foot of the page. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
