Sir Steve Redgrave is set to play in Wales
Sir Steve Redgrave's bid to raise 5m for children's charities and Sport Relief reaches Wales on Monday, when the Golden Five Golf Tour stops off at the Marriott St Pierre club, Chepstow.

The event has become one of the biggest celebrity-amateur competition on the calendar after last season's successful launch.

Ex-boxing champion John Conteh took first place in the 2001 event, ahead of former cricketer Chris Broad and Olympic sprinter Allan Wells.

The three are back again, along with the likes of Mike Gatting, Nicky Piper, Steve Davis, Jeremy Guscott and Michael Greco, in trying to take top spot.

This season, at St Pierre, sees the introduction of a special one-off Home Nations Championship between Wales/Ireland and England/Scotland in a matchplay competition.

Ieuan Evans, Max Boyce and Pat Jennings captain Wales/Ireland, while Redgrave, Conteh and Wells lead England/Scotland.

The day will also include Craig Jacoby giving a display of long-hitting, and is scheduled to start at 1330 BST.
