Anne Keothavong, Anna Smith in Danish Open semi-finals

Anne Keothavong
Keothavong remains involved in both the singles and doubles

Anne Keothavong and Anna Smith reached the semi-finals of the Danish Open women's doubles with a 7-5 6-3 win over Malou Ejdesgard and Caroline Wozniacki.

The British pair, surprise winners over second seeds Cara Black and Marina Erakovic on Monday, were too strong for opponents playing on home soil.

But in the singles, Britain's Elena Baltacha was beaten 6-3 6-2 by the Chinese second seed Li Na.

Keothavong plays her second round match against Polona Hercog on Thursday.

She is the sole remaining British player in the singles, which features Wozniacki as top seed.
