Clayton is through to the last eight in Nottingham

Jersey's Scott Clayton has continued his strong run of form by making it through to the quarter-finals of the 16 & Under Nottingham Grand Prix.

Clayton beat the tournament's number five seed Matthew Kirby in straight sets 6-4 6-5.

The 15-year-old will now face Tim Prossor in the last eight of the draw.

Last weekend, Clayton won both the singles and doubles finals at the European Tennis Association's under-16 event in Malta.
