Clayton qualified for the main draw at the 2007 Road to Wimbledon

Jersey's Scott Clayton and doubles partner Matthew Kirby are out of the 14 & Under boy's doubles event at the British Junior National Championships.

The pair went down in straight sets to number four seeds Chris Pearce and Billy Harris, 6-2 6-3, in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.

The Jersey player was invited to partner Kirby after he impressed in the singles qualifiers earlier in the week.

Kirby went on to beat Clayton in the second round of the singles main draw.
