Jersey's Scott Clayton won both his singles and doubles finals at the European Tennis Association's under-16 event in Malta. The 15-year-old defeated the number one seed, Romanian Andrei Aureti, in three sets (6-7,6-2,6-2) in Friday's match, which lasted just under three hours. Clayton then made it two from two when he, along with partner Tim McLarty of Great Britain, won the doubles final. The pair defeated the number one seeds Aureti and Vinti of Romania 7-6,6-2. Clayton is next in action at the 16 & under Nottingham Grand Prix which begins on Sunday. Clayton's first match is against Adam Stevenson from Scotland on Sunday (1030 GMT).
