Here are some of the reports from Coventry's 1-0 win at QPR in the Championship.
A late penalty from Gary McSheffrey settled this mid-table encounter at Loftus Road.
Simon Royce brought down McSheffrey after a through ball from James Scowcroft and referee Uriah Rennie had no option but to send off the QPR keeper and award a penalty.
McSheffrey stepped up and despatched the spot-kick emphatically.
QPR were dominant in the first half but the visitors soaked up the pressure.
Richard Langley looked bright pulling the strings in midfield with some slick touches, but the home side couldn't find a breakthrough.
It was a night dominated by defenders. QPR captain Danny Shittu was composed in defence, whilst Coventry's Robert Page snuffed out any danger with an experienced display at the back.
Despite having the lion's share of possession and dominating the game, QPR's chances were scarce and they rarely tested Coventry keeper Martin Fulop.
Rangers manager Ian Holloway said after the game that four games in eight days over the Christmas period would be a stern test of his team's character.

Gareth Ainsworth had almost given QPR the lead after two minutes with a great header, but Coventry goalkeeper Martin Fulop pulled off a tremendous save.

With Dan Shittu commanding at the back, QPR had another good chance in the second half when Ainsworth headed Stefan Moore's cross over the bar.
But when James Scowcroft played McSheffrey through, Royce pulled him down and was shown a red card.
Substitute keeper Jake Cole came on for Gareth Ainsworth to face the spot-kick, but he couldn't stop McSheffrey handing victory to Coventry.
