Stoddart only returned in October following a serious knee ligament injury

Scarlets and Wales full-back Morgan Stoddart has been sidelined for up to six weeks by a groin injury.

The 25-year-old has had limited game time since returning in October from a knee injury that had kept him on the sidelines since the previous March.

The Scarlets' back-three options have been further limited by an eye-socket injury that is set to keep wing Lee Williams out for up to four weeks.

Captain Mark Jones, Simon Easterby and Dafydd Jones are long-term injuries.

Wales flanker Jones is expected back next month, though.
