Scarlets hooker Ken Owens to press Wales case at Leinster
Bottom Welsh Magners League region Scarlets include Wales trio Martin Roberts, Jonathan Davies and Ken Owens for their daunting trip to Leinster.
Davies will partner Regan King at centre for the first time in a year, while Llanelli full-back Dan Newton makes his regional debut.
The Scarlets are desperate to turn promising performances into wins.
"Our form hasn't been bad in the league but our results have been terrible," captain David Lyons told BBC Sport.
"We've started to turn that around in the Heineken Cup and the LV= Cup, now we need to do that in the Magners."
Scarlets beat Leinster in Llanelli on the opening league weekend, but have since lost to them twice in Europe.
"It was a great start for us," said number eight Lyons. "There's been a blip, but hopefully we can recreate what we did at the beginning of the season."
Leinster are unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions and have won their last 10 games at Dublin's RDS Showground in the Magners League.
Scarlets have won their last three away games in all competitions, and have not lost on the road in the Magners League since a trip to Connacht on 30 October.
Leinster coach Michael Cheika said: "Kevin McLaughlin, Sean O'Brien, Shane Jennings, Eoin Reddan and Jonathan Sexton will all be involved.
"A top-four place is our target at this stage because we have to be realistic about the players we are missing.
"The one thing about Llanelli is we remember that they came here and gave us quite a bashing a few years back and that puts the fear into us every time we play them, that they could do it to us again."
