Wales' 2005 Grand Slam winning full-back Kevin Morgan has joined Neath as a player/fitness coach in a new-look coaching set-up.

Morgan has left Newport Gwent Dragons, after an injury-ravaged last season and has effectively quit top-flight rugby.

Ex-Wales Under 20 coach Patrick Horgan will head the new coaching team.

It is completed by Morgan's fellow ex-Wales internationals Steve Williams, formerly of Ulster, and Leigh Davies, who began their careers at Neath.

Former back-five forward Williams joins after coaching stints at Ulster and Coventry while Davies was in charge of village side Bryncoch last season.

Former Dragons and Scarlets three-quarter Nathan Brew has also signed for the Swalec Cup winners.

Brew, who was capped once in 2003 by Wales, spent most of last season with Bristol after leaving Parc y Scarlets.

Neath will be aiming to challenge for Welsh Premiership and Swalec Cup honours and make an impression in the new cross-border British & Irish Cup.
