Worcester Warriors thriving in play-offs - Benjamin

Worcester wing Miles Benjamin says the squad are relishing the feeling of being involved in meaningful matches.

Richard Hill's side head to Nottingham on Friday night looking for their third straight Championship play-off victory.

Benjamin told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "It's nice to be playing competitive games with things riding on it, so we know what we have to do.

"You can see the supporters respond to it and that's what every player enjoys playing in."

The Warriors followed up their 44-15 victory away at Bristol by beating London Welsh 40-23 last weekend, in front of a crowd of over 6,000 at Sixways.

We win our next seven games we're back in the Premiership

Benjamin, who scored his second hat-trick in two play-off matches, added: "It's exciting, we had a bigger turn-out on Saturday than we have for a few weeks.

"The fans get more involved once they see that some pressure is riding on the games.

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't like scoring tries, it's great fun and I'm definitely pleased with the way things are going.

"As long as we win our remaining play-off games, try-scoring won't be at the forefront of my mind.

"We know what our job is now. It's a simple enough message, we win our next seven games we're back in the Premiership."

There's full-match commentary on Nottingham against Worcester on Friday night on BBC Hereford & Worcester.
