Worcester Warriors back row Jake Abbott staked a claim for a first team place with an outstanding performance against Leicester Tigers A side at Sixways. Abbott scored three tries, as the Worcester youngsters defeated the previously unbeaten Tigers 46-28. Charlie Fellows, Callum MacRae and Ollie Frost also crossed the line with George Crook adding 16 points. Tigers trailed 46-11 before late tries from Rob Conquest, Tom Armes and Luix Roussarie made the score respectable. Meanwhile, the Warriors have taken the Birmingham and Solihull prop Ricky Davies and flanker Chris Brightwell on trial.
