Care drives over to score a try for Harlequins
Harlequins secured their second Premiership victory of the season in a closely-fought contest at Worcester.
Harlequins' Danny Care scored the only try of the first half, which saw two penalties to each side and a late Willie Walker drop goal for Worcester.
Mike Brown's converted try for the visitors, midway through a second half that also saw two penalties for each side, proved decisive.
Callum Black scored for Worcester late on but it was not enough.
Worcester director of rugby Mike Ruddock told BBC Hereford and Worcester:
"We could have played for another two days and we wouldn't have won that game.
"We thought there was an opportunity there as we thought Harlequins might come here a little bit tired after a couple of hard games in Europe.
"Either that, or they would have come here battle-hardened and very street-wise after playing in Europe and unfortunately for us it was the latter."
Harlequins coach John Kingston: "It was a very physical game and all credit to the guys, they dug deep and its never easy to win here.
"We are getting back on track but realistically we are not going to progress further in the Heineken Cup and our aim it to qualify for that competition next season."
