Rory Best is pleased as Ulster complete their pre-season programme with a 19-16 home win over Leeds Carnegie
Ulster will go into the Magners League campaign in good heart after a deserved win over Leeds Carnegie in their final pre-season friendly at Ravenhill.
Darren Cave's 13th-minute try was converted by Niall O'Connor and then trialist Adam D'Arcy set up left winger Tommy Seymour to make it 12-0.
Penalties by fly-half Ceiron Thomas cut the deficit to 12-6 before half-time.
New lock Johann Muller got the third try for Ulster while Warren Fury and James Tincknell touched down for Leeds.

Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin said the win had capped a good pre-season for the province.
"The purpose was to get us ready for the Ospreys next week and I think we are in good shape," he said.
"We have to be right when we cross the line for that game.
"Our strength in depth is improving and, over the next few weeks, we will have more of our Irish players coming in and that will strengthen us further.
