Kruger joined the Saints in the summer of 2008 |
Northampton Saints lock Juandre Kruger will leave the club at the end of the season to return to South Africa where he will re-join the Bulls. The 24-year-old South African is returning to his homeland in an attempt to make it into the Springbok team. "Ultimately I want to represent South Africa," Kruger told the Bulls website. "I picked up a lot of experience and the Heineken Cup forced me to sharpen up my lineout play as well as my decision making and contact skills." Kruger joined Northampton in 2008 and has been a regular in Jim Mallinder's team. He also helped the Saints win the European Challenge Cup last season. "The coaching staff, the management team, the facilities and the whole culture at Loftus is every rugby player's dream and I am very excited about my second spell with the Bulls," Kruger added.
