Kruger joined Saints from the Blue Bulls in October 2008

Northampton Saints lock Juandre Kruger has been suspended for one week after an internal disciplinary hearing.

The 24-year-old is alleged to have stamped on Nicolas Durand during the second round Heineken Cup match against Perpignan on Friday 16 October.

Kruger will face a further disciplinary hearing after being reported to the match-citing commissioner Alan Whyte.

The South African will be unavailable for this weekend's Guinness Premiership match against Sale.

Meanwhile, prop Brian Mujati will also face a disciplinary hearing for allegedly pushing referee Nigel Owens in the back during the same match.
