Northampton Saints have announced that four more players are leaving the club after failing to regularly break into the first team last season. Ben Lewitt, Neil Starling, Will Harries and Phil Hoy have been told by director of rugby Jim Mallinder they are no longer needed at Franklins Gardens. "All of our squad have contributed to our good season," said Mallinder. "Those who are leaving can be proud of what they have achieved and I wish them all the best for the future." Tom Smith, Matt Lord, Barry Stewart and Rob Milligan have already announced their retirements. Meanwhile Sean Lamont will be at The Scarlets and Alex Rae will be at Bedford Blues from the start of next season.
