I am close to my best, says London Irish wing Topsy Ojo
Ojo has scored nine tries so far this season in all competitions
London Irish wing Topsy Ojo says he is playing near his best, despite not having scored a try since January.
Ojo, who was restricted to just seven games last season because of a knee injury, is still the Exiles' leading scorer this term with nine tries.
The 25-year-old told BBC Berkshire: "I'm playing as well as I have done for a while now, which is great for me.
"I'm getting my hands on the ball a lot more than I used to and I'm just enjoying things."
Ojo added: "Last year was pretty bad. I had that big injury and picked up a few others.
"It was always going to take longer than I expected. You need to build up and I can say now I feel 100% fit and am enjoying the game.
"I haven't missed any games since pre-season this year, which has been great.
"Physically, there have been no problems and I've just been able to concentrate on rugby."
After a run of 10 consecutive defeats in all competitions at the turn of the year, Irish have won four of their last six Premiership games to lie fifth in the table, five points off the play-off places.
"The club's a happy place and you can see that in the performances now," said Ojo.
"Delon [Armitage] has come back and flying. Tom Homer is kicking everything from everywhere and I think that's feeding through.
"It's back to they way we were playing at the beginning of the season.
"Everybody has got a smile on their faces, things are going well for us."
