Meyer saw his side pick up their fifth win of the season against Harlequins

Leicester Tigers head coach Heyneke Meyer has spoken of his pride following his side's 27-14 victory over Harlequins at Welford Road.

Johne Murphy, Derick Hougaard and Matt Smith all crossed the try line in Leicester's fifth win of the season.

Meyer told BBC Radio Leicester: "I am very proud of them. We were missing a lot due to international and injuries but we showed true character.

"I am happy with the win but there's still work to be done."
