Stephenson has agreed a two-year deal at Headingley
Leeds Carnegie signing Michael Stephenson says is more than happy to play in any position the management team see fit.
The former Bath man, 29, normally plays on the wing but can play full-back or centre too.
Stephenson told BBC Radio Leeds: "I have come here to do a job whenever I'm put and I'm happy to do that.
"In recent times I've played most of my rugby on the wing rather than full-back so I am more comfortable there."
Stephenson's move to Leeds sees him return to the north after joining Bath from Newcastle Falcons in 2005.
"I just want to break into the first team and become a regular in whatever position the coaches decide. I know it will be very hard to get into the first team though with the quality we have here.
"The Leeds setup is right up there with anything I've experienced before.
"I think there is a lot to be said at Leeds with all the management, back-room staff, etc all in one place and working and pulling together."
Stephenson will compete for a position on the wing with the likes of Lee Blackett and rugby league converts Henry Fa'afili and Semi Tadulala.
"The boys that used to play rugby league have played union before and have such great skills and they bring a lot to Leeds.
"I have played a lot of Premiership games so hopefully my experience can help Leeds as a whole and I'm happy to help any player too."
