Leeds Carnegie lock forward Erik Lund is ignoring reports linking him with a move away from Headingley.

The 30-year-old Norwegian, who has been one of Leeds' star players this season, has been linked with a move to Biarritz to join his brother Magnus.

"I see these stories," Lund told BBC Radio Leeds. "But my main focus is keeping Leeds in the Premiership.

"If guys are playing well then clubs are going to come and talk to you, but that's all I can say at this moment."

The Norway international, who signed from Rotherham in 2007, has become Leeds' first choice lock this season, partnering captain Marco Wentzel.

"There are always going to be rumours about people," he said. "But I can say all the guys here are focusing on one thing and that's doing well for Leeds and keeping them in this division."

We are in negotiations for a new deal and we'll see how that goes

Meanwhile, centre Scott Barrow, out of contract this summer, is keen to earn himself a new deal at Headingley.

"I think I've coped pretty well with the step-up in divisions," said the Scotland A international. "And I think Leeds are happy with what I've given back to them.

"We are in negotiations for a new deal and we'll see how that goes.

"It's all up in the air at the moment and, as a squad, we are not talking about future situations such as relegation.

"It will come to a point where we all have to start talking about the future but currently it's just focusing on winning more games."
