England scrum coach Graham Rowntree advises Gloucester

Prop Rupert Harden has revealed that England scrum coach Graham Rowntree has been working at Gloucester.

Harden told BBC Gloucestershire: "We've been getting a bit of help from Graham. He really knows his stuff."

Harden played 28 minutes from the bench in the win over Leeds last Saturday, and now wants more first team action.

"I understand where I am in the pecking order and there are two good tight-head props ahead of me, but I'm in rugby to play so that's what I want to do."

The 25-year-old was playing for National League side Tynedale two seasons ago, and spent much of last season on loan at Moseley.

"The front row guys all get on pretty well and they let you know what your weaknesses and strengths are," added Harden. "Pierre Capdevielle and Olivier Azam have both been playing for 15 years and they really know how to scrummage so that's really helpful."
