Gloucester have extended their shirt sponsorship deal with Jewson for another three years until 2013.
Their previous three-year agreement ran out this summer, but it has been renewed for an undisclosed sum.
"They're paying a fair bit, it's a substantial amount of money," the club's head of sales and marketing Pete Grzonka told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"It's definitely within the top two or three in the Premiership, so we're really pleased with the figure."
He added: "It's more than than just the money - we've got a long-term sponsor in place, we can plan for the future going forward."
After missing out on Heineken Cup qualification for a second successive season, being able to extend their relationship with their main sponsor suggests Gloucester's ability to attract business has not been adversely affected.
Although the cherry and whites have historically stayed tight-lipped over the value of their sponsorship deals, Grzonka insists that in the current financial climate this agreement stands up well, compared to its predecessor.
"It's pretty well in line with where it was last time, so it's very good as far as the climate goes," he said.
