Tindall is now in his third season at Gloucester |
England centre Mike Tindall will captain Gloucester in their last pre-season game against Glasgow at Kingsholm on Saturday. Head coach Dean Ryan told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "Mike has always been at the forefront of where we are going as a side. "I'm reluctant to name a captain [for the season] because you are naming a player in your team for nine months. "If Mike plays well and captains well, we'll see more of him in that role." Gloucester's starting XV includes 12 full internationals. The only exceptions are fly-half Ryan Lamb, prop Nick Wood and flanker Peter Buxton. Summer recruit Matthew Watkins is among the replacements. Olly Barkley continues to recover from a wrist injury picked up on international duty with England in the closed season.
