Gloucester have awarded England international flanker Andy Hazell a testimonial season. Hazell, 30, is the longest-serving player at Kingsholm, having made his debut more than a decade ago. "This honour means a huge amount to me. It was always a dream to play for Gloucester and I am fortunate to have fulfilled that dream," said Hazell. The seven-times capped forward is only the third player to be honoured in this way by Gloucester. Hazell added: I am passionate about Gloucester and its rugby. There is plenty I still want to achieve in the game and I am relishing the start of the new season. This is just something very special and to be only the third player to ever receive one is a tremendous honour. The open-side flanker made only 13 club appearances last year because of injury but is closing on 200 games for the only club of his career.
