Adams has represented England on the Sevens circuit |
Centre Jack Adams has signed for Bristol after finding his opportunities increasingly limited at Gloucester. The 22-year-old, who made his debut for Gloucester in 2005, has been playing on loan at League One Moseley this season. "I'm at the stage in my career when I need to be playing regular first-team rugby and I think Bristol is the best place to achieve that," said Adams. "I'm really looking forward to the challenge. Bristol are another great club and I'm excited to join them." Bristol head coach Paul Hull said: "He's a strong, direct runner with experience of domestic and European rugby and will be a great asset to our squad." Despite Bristol struggling at the foot of the Premiership, Adams has no qualms about potentially kick-starting his career outside the top-flight next season. He added: "Paul Hull has gone into detail about what he wants the club to achieve and I hope I can play a big part in that." | I feel that we're putting together a really good squad for next season |
Hull has also signed lock Nathan Budgett and wing Lee Robinson to new deals, while 19-year-old second-row Darren Barry has also put pen to paper on a contract for next season. Hull said: "'Budge' has been one of the cornerstones of our pack for some time now and his experience will be crucial for us next year. "And on his day, Lee is one of the most intimidating wingers in the game. He has a great combination of size, strength and speed. "I'm very pleased with the results of the work put in behind the scenes over the past few weeks. I feel that we're putting together a really good squad for next season."
