New Zealand Maori secured their place in the Churchill Cup final by beating a spirited Ireland A side 27-6. The victory means they finished top of Pool B to book a final date against Scotland A at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium next Saturday.
Ireland were 15-6 behind going into the final 10 minutes in San Francisco but their hopes ended when Ulsterman Roger Wilson was sent off for a head-butt.
And late Maori tries from Hose Gear and Thomas Waldron sealed the win.
Ireland's points came from a Paddy Wallace penalty and a Robert Kearney drop goal.
Shannon Paku and Liam Messam also crossed the line for the Maori, whose final try by replacement Waldron featured a glaring forward pass.
Ireland A will now face England Saxons in the plate final in Edmonton next Saturday.
