Pumas recall Grau for SA date
Argentina hooker Federico Mendez tries to escape the clutches of England lock Ben Kay
The Pumas lost last time out against England
Argentina have recalled battle-hardened prop Roberto Grau to their starting line-up for Saturday's Test against South Africa at the PAM Brink Stadium in Springs.

Grau's inclusion at loosehead in place of Omar Hasan, who drops to the bench, is the only change to the side defeated by England in Buenos Aires last Saturday.

Grau, a 38-Test veteran who has played for the Golden Lions in South Africa's provincial competition, the Currie Cup, will add valuable experience.

He forms a formidable front-row trio alongside Mauricio Reggiardo, who switches to tighthead, and hooker Federico Mendez, who will test the Springboks in the scrums.

Corne Krige on the charge in the second Test against Wales
Krige (centre) will replace Skinstad as captain

Scrum-half Agustin Pichot will continue to lead the team in the absence of regular skipper Lisandro Arbizu, still sidelined with injury.

The Springboks, meanwhile, have opted for four changes to the side that wrapped up an unconvincing 2-0 series victory over Wales at Newlands a fortnight ago.

In the backline, centre Adrian Jacobs comes in for Marius Joubert, who drops to the bench, as does Johannes Conradie, who is replaced at scrum-half by Craig Davidson.

Up front, prop Ollie le Roux gets a run-on start in his 50th Test, replacing Daan Human, while Hottie Louw comes in for Quinton Davids in the second row.

Coach Rudi Straeuli has also opted for a change of captaincy, with tough flanker Corne Krige taking over from provincial team-mate Bob Skinstad.

Skinstad, the golden boy of South African rugby, led the side in both Tests against Wales, but Straeuli is keen to assess Krige's leadership ahead of the Tri Nations series against New Zealand and Australia.

Teams:

South Africa: Brent Russell; Stefan Terblanche, Adrian Jacobs, De Wet Barry, Breyton Paulse; Andre Pretorius, Craig Davidson; Bob Skinstad, AJ Venter, Corne Krige (captain), Jannes Labuschagne, Hottie Louw, Willie Meyer, James Dalton, Ollie le Roux.
Replacements: Daan Human, Faan Rautenbach, Quinton Davids, Joe van Niekerk, Bolla Conradie, Marius Joubert, Werner Greeff

Argentina: Ignacio Corleto; Gonzalo Camardon, Jose Orengo, Felipe Contepomi, Diego Albanese; Gonzalo Quesada, Agustin Pichot (captain); Gonzalo Longo, Rolando Martin, Santiago Phelan, Rimas Alvarez, Ignacio Fernandez Lobbe, Mauricio Reggiardo, Federico Mendez, Roberto Grau.
Replacements: Omar Hasan, Mario Ledesma, Lucas Ostiglia, Martin Durand, Nicolas Fernandez Miranda, Jose Maria Nunez Piossek, Juan Fernandez Miranda.
