 | HEINEKEN CUP FINAL |
Toulouse full-back Clement Poitrenaud has pledged to make up for the mistake that gifted Wasps the Heineken Cup. The 22-year-old gifted Rob Howley the winning try and called the lapse "the biggest blunder" of his career.
"I wrecked everything for my team, but I'm determined to shake it off and I own up 200%," he said.
But team-mate Frederic Michalak refused to attribute defeat to Poitrenaud, saying: "That's rugby. We were all to blame for not taking our chances."
