It's been a difficult couple of weeks - first losing to the Warriors in the Celtic League and then finding out that we could be merging with them. We don't know too much about it, so it's difficult to comment on what might happen to us as the Cardiff Blues.
The majority of the players first heard about the proposed merger on the news.
But full credit to Peter Thomas, the Cardiff Blues chairman, who had us in to run everything over and tell us how he sees it.
The club have said they will honour existing contracts - you expect that anyway when you sign a contract - and I'm sure Peter is that type of person.

But it's a worry for those players coming out of contract at the end of the season.
They've played for a contract with the Blues and then suddenly there could be 60 players chasing 30 squad places and it could be a difficult time.
But in the meantime we've just got to concentrate on trying to lift the Blues through to the quarter-finals of the Heineken Cup and climbing the Celtic League table.
The speculation this week hasn't helped our preparations to face Biarritz in the Heineken Cup on Saturday.
But a lot of the questions players had have been answered and we can put it behind us, because nothing else will happen for a while.
We were unlucky when we lost in the first round at Sale and we ran Leinster close, so it could easily have been two wins rather than two losses.
We've now got to go to Biarritz, which will be extremely difficult, with all intentions of winning the game.
If we perform like we can and have that hunger there's no reason why we can't get an away win and really kick on from there.
If we do we're right back in it, if we don't we'll be out of Europe.
