Elissalde joins Nicolas Jeanjean on the sidelines |
Toulouse have suffered a twin injury blow ahead of Saturday's Heineken Cup final against Perpignan. Scrum-half Jean-Baptiste Elissalde, who is also the club's regular goalkicker, has torn a thigh muscle and will miss the Dublin date.
"Jean-Baptiste's injury came to light in a training session... and he will not be able to play on Saturday," said Toulouse coach Guy Noves.
Elissalde's absence means France international Frederik Michalak will start at scrum-half, with Yann Delaigue at stand off.
Noves was also unable to call on prop Patrice Collazo when he announced his side on Friday.
Collazo failed to shake off an ankle injury despite intensive treatment and will be replaced by Benoit Lecouls.
Full-back Nicolas Jeanjean also misses out after aggravating an old shoulder injury.
