Murphy out for two weeks
Phil Murphy in action for Canada
Murphy will miss two key club games
Perpignan are hoping to have Canadian number eight Phil Murphy back from injury in time for the Heineken Cup final.

Murphy was ruled out for two weeks on 5 May with a calf problem.

He suffered the injury during a 24-19 defeat by Stade Francais, but club medical staff say he will be fit for the final against Toulouse in Dublin on 24 May.

However, his loss for the last two championship second round group phase matches is a serious blow to Perpignan.

Their hopes of making the semi-finals are in the balance as they trail second-placed Agen by four points with two matches remaining.

Murphy is set to leave Perpignan at the end of the season as the French side have signed All Black star Scott Robertson.

The Canadian has been linked with English Premiership strugglers London Irish.
