Young Worcester Warriors scrum-half Ollie Frost has signed a new two-year deal with the Championship leaders.

"I'm really pleased to have signed the new contract to remain at Warriors and continue my association with the club," said 21-year-old Frost.

"I've come through the ranks here, so I'm delighted to be able to continue my development at Sixways.

"I really feel that, under the guidance of Richard Hill and all the coaching team, I can prosper."

Hereford-born Frost, who stands behind Jonny Arr and Andy Williams in the pecking order at Sixways, broke into the first team last season.

He made five appearances in cup competitions, following his senior debut in Spain when he came off the replacements bench against Olympus Rugby Madrid.

And he has made three appearances from the bench in this season's Championship.

"We're delighted for Ollie," said Worcester academy manager Andrew Stanley. "It is a reflection on the hard work he has shown to his training the last couple of years.

"He has been rewarded with a two-year senior contract with the club and we rate him very highly.

"We have good players at scrum-half with the likes of Ollie, Andy Williams and Jonny Arr. He will be battling hard for recognition and to get as much first team action as he can do."

Worcester's Championship trip to Doncaster, postponed on Saturday due to the snow, has been rescheduled for next Wednesday night (15 December, 1930 BST).
