Saturday's Championship clash between Worcester Warriors and Doncaster Knights has been called off because of adverse weather conditions. Heavy snow at Castle Park means the match will have to be rescheduled. Despite the snowfall, Warriors coach Richard Hill has made his side face the tough conditions in training. "We have made good use of our indoor facility, but we have had the players out in the snow at times," he told BBC Hereford & Worcester. "I was pleased we had snow, as it was all the more pleasant to watch them train." | As a group we have looked at the basics and the fundamentals of the game and much of it was good |
Hill admitted he has not punished his side as much as he threatened, after lambasting their performance against Esher. The former Bristol coach criticised his players despite their 36-7 win on Saturday but says he relented after watching a video of the game. He added: "I was maybe a bit harsh after the game last week. "But as a group we have looked at the basics and the fundamentals of the game and much of it was good. "If most of it is good and the finishing just needs improving out that's not a bad positions to be in."
