Hill took over at Worcester in May |
Worcester Warriors coach Richard Hill says he wants his players to adapt to his way of thinking and get to know the names of everyone working at Sixways. But he told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "There are one or two it takes the message longer to get to. A zero tolerance approach is required. "I can't afford to wait for a year before people slot into the right behaviour," he added. He brought his squad out for an extra training session on Friday afternoon. He said: "They had a 'beasting' after their session, they had to do a bit more after certain things that went on during the week. | I don't have a long list of rules, but I expect players to stick to them Worcester Warriors coach Richard Hill |
"Everybody has to understand what is required, there are very basic rules. "I don't have a long list of rules, but I expect players to stick to them. "That has got to be done by 28 August and I want everyone to have changed their behaviour by that date." Hill says he wants the players to realise they are only part of the organisation at Sixways and they have to be aware of the rest of the club. "One of the things we have done is given the players a pen picture of everyone on the staff," he said. "The cleaners, the kitchen staff, people in the media, marketing and commercial, the players have got to learn the name of everyone in the organisation. "There are a lot of people who do a lot of hard work for us to enjoy what we are doing. "Everybody, like the the groundsman, will be working extremely hard, great fans of the club and they will be hoping the team perform. "We will be testing the team every now and then, handing out photos of the staff and they have to name those people."
