Bromsgrove remain in third place in National Division Three Midlands after securing a 28-20 victory over local rivals Hereford. Fly-half Ben Copson starred for the home side with a try and 13 points from the boot. Toby Wilson and Drew Harper also crossed for Bromsgrove in a fiercely competitive game. Hereford managed tries from Nick Harrison and Matt Pritchard but their late onslaught came to nothing. Luctonians picked up their second victory in two weeks as they won 12-6 at Newport. Paul Hulland and Oliver Williams got the tries for Lucs and despite two penalties from Fijian Tomasi Tanumi the North Hererforshire side hung on for the win. But Malvern's 16-13 defeat at South Leicester leaves them in the bottom two. Malvern had the lead through an early try from Phil Rawle and Adam Dixon added eight points with the boot. But home fly-half Mark Lord replied with all his team's points.
