Corry said Leicester are completely focused on beating Wasps |
Leicester captain Martin Corry says the Premiership final win over Gloucester will have no bearing on Sunday's Heineken Cup final against Wasps. Corry scored one of the Tigers' seven tries as they secured the second leg of a potential Treble with a dominant display at Twickenham on Saturday.
"I don't want to draw a comparison with what happened on Saturday and what's going to happen next week," he said.
"It's going to be really tight and it's going to be really tough up front."
Gloucester went into the game on the back of a 50-point showing against Saracens but, if Leicester fly-half Andy Goode's kicking had been more accurate, they would have conceded 50 points on Saturday as the Tigers ran riot.

"We will enjoy the victory and enjoy lifting the trophy, but we will make sure that come Monday we're all focusing completely on Wasps," he said.
"We're delighted with what's happened but we weren't going loopy in the dressing room - we'll only start being satisfied with what we've done this season come the end of the season."
Leicester dominated all areas of the game against Gloucester, who struggled with both the wet conditions and the Tigers' power in the pack and the backs.

"We're very happy with how we played," admitted Corry.
"We always talk about getting the mix right between the backs and forwards and we got pretty close to it.
"We counter-attacked especially well and we drove very well - when we had the ball we showed what a good side we are.
"If you are looking for a key it was how well we kept hold of the ball, especially in the slippery conditions."
