Worcester's wait for their first Premiership win of the season goes on after Shaun Berne's boot proved the difference against Bath at The Rec.
Berne, who took over kicking duties in the second half after Ollie Barkley had gone off injured, claimed a penalty and a drop-goal.
The opening try of the game came from Nick Walshe early in the second half.
At least the visitors earned a bonus point for Aleki Lutui's late try, but overall it was a forgettable game.
Bath's acting head coach Steve Meehan on Ollie Barkley's injury: "Olly went in to make a tackle and a boot flicked up into his groin.
"He's got a personal injury there, and I don't think he'll be doing a lot of running around at the England training session next week.
"The main objective was to win today and we did that, although we certainly didn't entertain anybody."
Worcester head coach Anthony Eddy on his side's yellow cards: "It's extremely disappointing (the lack of discipline).
"I'll have a look further at the game to see exactly what they were for so we can deal with it.
"We haven't hit panic stations or anything at this time. It would be nice to have a few more points on the table but they'll come as the season goes on."
