Castleford assistant coach Brad Davis has become the latest name from rugby league to switch codes after becoming defensive coach at Bath. The 38-year-old Australian has spent the last 14 years in league as a player with Nottingham, Huddersfield, York, Wakefield and Castleford.
He has signed a two-year contract with the Premiership club.
He joins the likes of Shaun Edwards, Mike Ford, Graham Steadman and Denis Betts in coaching posts in rugby union.
Davis bowed out of rugby league as a substitute in Castleford's defeat by Wakefield in Saturday's Super League relegation decider.
He said: "I've always been interested in rugby union and always followed it closely and when an opportunity came to join a club like Bath it was one that I couldn't refuse. I'm really pleased that I've made the move.
"Hopefully my years of experience in rugby league, especially in defence, will help the club's ambition to be at the top of European rugby."
