Grewcock is rated as one of the best second rows in the world |
England lock Danny Grewcock has signed a new three-year contract with Bath, keeping him at the club until 2009. The 33-year-old, who moved to The Rec from Saracens in 2001, has won 61 England caps and been selected for the last two Lions tours.
"During the last five years with Bath, I feel that I have significantly improved as a player," said Grewcock.
"That's down to the high standard of coaching I have received. I'm looking forward to continuing my career here."
Grewcock, who won the Premiership player of the month award earlier this season, said the coaching at Bath had helped him establish himself as a first-choice selection for England.
"The coaches at Bath are all extremely hard working and meticulous in their approach and I feel that I am in an environment where I can continue to learn and improve," said Grewcock.
"I am enjoying my rugby at the moment and the improvements that I have made at club level have helped me massively with my international career."
