Grewcock has been in fine form this season |
Bath captain Danny Grewcock has signed a new two-year contract with the Zurich Premiership leaders. The lock missed most of England's World Cup campaign through injury, but has been instrumental in Bath's title push.
"I am delighted to be signing a new deal," said Grewcock, who has won 47 England caps and was a Test Lion in Australia three years ago.
Bath rugby director Jack Rowell said: "Danny leads by example every time he takes to the field."
Grewcock follows Olly Barkley, Steve Borthwick, Jonathan Humphreys, Andy Beattie, James Scaysbrook, Alex Crockett, Spencer Davey, Gareth Delve, Rob Hawkins and James Hudson in signing a new contract.
But there is still no news about Grewcock's England World Cup colleague Mike Catt.
The fly-half/centre has been linked with a move to Premiership rivals Leeds, following team-mate Iain Balshaw north next season.
Bath have yet to announce whether the 32-year-old remains part of their plans.
