Worcester Warriors v Nottingham

Championship logo

Joe Carlisle will start at fly-half for Worcester, with Andy Goode on the bench, while Dale Rasmussen returns to the centre in place of Alex Grove.

Tom Arscott is at full-back in place of the injured Chris Pennell, while Matt Kvesic returns from England Under-20 duty to play in the back row.

"We'll test Nottingham to see if they'll back up their performance from last week," says coach Richard Hill.

"We learnt a lot about them and we won't treat them quite so lightly.

"Their defence was much more physical and difficult to break down - they also kept going for the full 80 minutes," Hill told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We'd expected them to wilt after 60 but, to be fair to them, they didn't.

"There can normally be a bit of aggravation when you play teams back-to-back and a few scores to settle.

"Nottingham got stuck right into us last Friday, there were one or two cheap shots, they were physical and abrasive so this one will have a bit of spice.

"We look for a slight change of emphasis and more mobility, whilst not losing any impact in the scrum, by bringing in Matt Mullan, Bruce Douglas and Aleki Lutui from the start.

"Joe (Carlisle) played exceptionally well in his last game here against Moseley Rugby and needs another start to show his undoubted quality, and to continue his improvement in performance."

Worcester: Arscott, Garvey, Crockett, Rasmussen, Benjamin, Carlisle, Arr; Mullan, Lutui, Douglas, Kitchener, Gillies, Best, Kvesic, Horstmann.

Replacements: Fortey, Taumoepeau, Rawlinson, Balding, Frost, Goode, Grove.
