Captain Fran Hunt scores two tries for Vagabonds |
Vagabonds Ladies suffered a heavy 42-15 defeat at the hands of high-flying Morpeth Ladies in RFUW Championship North Division Two on Saturday. Two tries from captain Fran Hunt and a debut score from Keira Skelly were not enough to avoid defeat. Coach Darrin Cook told BBC Isle of Man: "The girls gave it everything but Morpeth were too strong. The defeat leaves the Isle of Man side sixth with Morpeth moving to within three points of leaders Novocastrians. Cook's side will travel to the league leaders on the 20 March for their next fixture. "It is going to be a real test. We will need gather ourselves and come out fighting," he added.
