The Isle of Man senior badminton team recorded their fifth victory in six matches in the Inter-County Championship at the weekend. The Manx team lost Saturday's opening clash with Derbyshire 8-7 before winning Sunday's second game 11-4. The result sees the island move level with their opponents at the top of the table having already beaten Nottinghamshire and Lancashire twice. The Isle of Man conclude their campaign when they travel to Durham in April. Sunday's commanding victory means they received a bonus point to finish the weekend with four out of the possible six on offer.
