Callaway-Bawden is studying BTEC public services at Truro College

Two Cornish students have been called up to the England Under-20 women's squad for the forthcoming Six Nations.

Flanker Kayleigh Callaway-Bawden and hooker Charlie Notman are both from Truro College.

Julie Penprase, sports lecturer at Truro College, said: "They are both very determined and it is great to see what they can achieve with hard work.

"Hopefully their experiences will benefit the college team who have a busy few months ahead."

Penprase continued: "Both girls are vital players in the College Rugby Academy and they share the same dream of one day playing for the full England team."
