Luke pushed over for the second of the Pirates five tries |
Cornish Pirates made it a hat-trick of wins against rivals Plymouth Albion as they ran in five tries in their British and Irish Cup Pool A game. The defending champions were down after a Kieran Hallet penalty, but Wes Davies answered with his first try. Tom Luke pushed over for the second, with Rob Cook adding a penalty just before the break. Davies then ran in another two, and Jonny Bentley also got on the score sheet to secure the win for Pirates. The result ensures Pirates, who have collected maximum points in this season's campaign so far, remain top of Pool A.
