Bedford will be better says Worcester Warriors coach

Worcester head coach Richard Hill says promotion rivals Bedford will be a much better side when it comes to the end of season play-offs.

The Championship leaders beat second placed Bedford 32-0 at Sixways on Saturday but Hill says the Blues will be a lot tougher come the play-offs.

""I don't think they'd be too pleased with the way they played here," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"If they come here again they will be fired up."

The Warriors boss added: "Last week took a lot out of them when they lost at the [Cornish] Pirates. We were very clinical and they were maybe a bit flat.

"But they are still a good side, and we saw glimpses of when they want to play they can play.

"They will be a better team. They had an off day today they are better than that normally."

Hill was also full of praise for wing Marcel Garvey, after he bagged two tries to take his total to 13 for the season.

"He has hit some form and is playing outstanding well, in attack and defence," he said.

"He is prepared to do the dirty work in defence and has made some crucial tackles.

"Marcel is a difficult man to stop, he is looking for the ball and on this form he is a deadly finisher."
