Three Guernsey youngsters will be aiming to impress at the Hampshire under-15 rugby trials on Sunday. Joe Trenchard, Adam Rawles and Oliver Daunt will be up against over 100 other young hopefuls. The numbers will be whittled down for the afternoon session, with 40 will be selected to make the final squad. The trio, who play for the Guernsey Under-15 side, have been preparing for trials by training with the Guernsey Rugby Academy. Rawles said: "I only found out a couple of weeks ago that I had been selected to try out, as the Guernsey coach was asked by a scout from Hampshire to send his top three players along. "I'm excited to go, it's going to be a great experience, but I'm not getting carried away with my chances of getting in this year as it's my first time."
